Playhouses remind us that childhood should be carefree, without abuse or neglect. That’s why Henrico CASA hosts our annual Home for Good® fundraising and awareness event every April during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Our seven 2024 one-of-a-kind luxury playhouses were designed and built by local professionals to reflect the theme: Change a Child’s Story. Every day in our work as Court Appointed Special Advocates, we have the unique and meaningful opportunity to change a child’s story. While we can’t change the past for children who have experienced abuse and neglect, we can ensure that this is not how the children’s stories end. As a result of our intervention, these children will have the safety, stability, and support they need to thrive moving into the future.
